Are you a confident and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking several enthusiastic and empathetic SEN Teachers to join a thriving school in Croydon. Roles may be available in primary or secondary depending on your experience.

About the role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. You will work closely with a supportive team of teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.

Requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
A strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
