Tradewind Recruitment is working with a primary school in Barnet to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work within their Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) from after the Easter break.

The ARP supports pupils with complex SEND needs, including ASD and SEMH, providing tailored support in a smaller classroom environment while maintaining strong links to mainstream classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs

• Assist with personalised curriculum delivery

• Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour

• Implement structured routines and visual supports

• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

Requirements:

• Strong SEND experience in a primary setting

• Knowledge of behaviour strategies and de-escalation

• Nurturing and adaptable approach

• Full-time availability from after Easter
