4DWW will be rolled out within our school, when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year - so there's never been a more exciting time to join us !

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Start date: September 2025

About the Role

As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver a creative and flexible curriculum with a strong therapeutic and trauma-informed approach. You will plan, assess, and deliver all subjects, with a focus on practical, engaging learning that supports each pupil's personal and academic development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised teaching to pupils with autism and associated needs
  • Adapt lesson planning to meet a wide range of learning abilities and EHCP requirements
  • Set high expectations to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Promote positive progress and outcomes in both academic and social development
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families to achieve the best outcomes

What We're Looking For

We are looking for teachers who are:

  • Qualified (QTS/QTLS) and ideally experienced in SEN or SEMH settings
  • Skilled in adapting teaching for pupils with autism and complex needs
  • Committed to promoting wellbeing, safety, and inclusion in every aspect of school life
  • Flexible, resilient, and ready to help shape a brand-new learning environment
  • Passionate about therapeutic, pupil-centred education

General Responsibilities

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils
  • Work in line with professional standards, statutory guidance, and school policies
  • Take on agreed responsibilities to support school development and improvement
  • Contribute to the school's daily operations and wider learning community

About us

Our New Options Autism School - Bradford Beacon School is proposed to open September 2025 and will cater for 37 pupils aged 4 - 11 years with have a variety of complex needs including ASC.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
