SEN nanny required in Cobham, Surrey

Job Overview

Are you a warm, energetic and compassionate nanny looking for your next long term role? A lovely family relocating from London to Cobham, Surrey is looking for an experienced nanny to join them Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-7:00pm, caring for their three wonderful boys, aged 12, 9 and 6.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the eldest son with multiple special educational needs (SEN) and developmental delays, and provide general childcare for all three boys.
• Work closely with the mother initially, with the opportunity to take on sole charge responsibility over time.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with the children to help them feel happy, secure and supported.
• Engage the boys in outdoor and active play such as trips to trampoline parks, cycling, football, swimming and water based fun in the family pool.
• Offer additional hours as needed, subject to the right candidate.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' childcare experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable.
• First aid and SEN training or experience.
• Childcare qualification mandatory.
• Valid enhanced DBS certificate.
• 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
• Professional nanny insurance recommended.

Schedule & Pay

Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-7:00pm (5 hours per day). Pay: £25 gross per hour. Permanent position starting Mid August 2026.
