Our client, a prominent educational institution in Basingstoke, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff, contributing to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing one-on-one or small-group support to students with a range of educational and behavioural needs, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they require to thrive.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Assisting students with various tasks, such as reading, writing, and numeracy, tailoring your approach to their individual learning styles and needs.
• Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans, tracking student progress, and providing regular feedback.
• Offering emotional and social support to students, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence within the classroom.
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and working closely with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech and language therapists, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive support system.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress, behaviour, and any additional support provided.
• Actively contributing to the school's wider community, attending events and supporting extracurricular activities as needed.
