SEN Learning Support Assistant

Academics / Term Time Teachers are recruiting dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to work full time within schools supporting children with a range of additional needs.
Schools are looking for committed, compassionate individuals to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
ADHD
Global Developmental Delay
Down Syndrome
Dyslexia
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children's educational journeys by supporting both their academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
The Role:Full-time positions available
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders
Implementing strategies to support learning, engagement and emotional regulation
Promoting an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Minimum of 6 months' experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD or other additional needs
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Two years' worth of references
