SEN Classroom Mentor

A fantastic SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated SEN Classroom Mentor / SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP, ideal for someone passionate about special educational needs and inclusive education.

As a SEN Classroom Mentor, you will support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing needs, speech, language and communication needs, and physical disabilities. You will help pupils regulate their emotions, build confidence, and achieve personal and academic goals, whilst encouraging independence.

This wonderful SEN school has many exceptional facilities to support the needs of students. This ranges from Art/IT/Drama rooms, large outdoor field and an exceptional sports hall. The team of school staff are extremely supportive and are excited to find a bubbly and friendly SEN Classroom Mentor to join their team!

The ideal SEN Classroom Mentor will be patient, resilient and compassionate, with a passion for supporting children with SEN. Previous experience working with children would be beneficial but not essential.

• £90 to £100 per day
• Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm
