SEN Case Officer

SEN Case Officer (3 month interim contract)

Location: North East England - Remote
Daily Rate: £280 per day
Inside IR35 via umbrella
CVs being reviewed immediately for a January start.

Role: Work alongside other SEN Case Officers to clear a backlog of new assessments.

Responsibilities

• Writing, drafting, and amending EHCPs.
• In charge of new assessments.
• Ensure equality of opportunity for all children and maintain good communication links with parents, other services, and agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months experience as a SEN Case Officer within a local authority setting.
• Previous experience within local authority SEND service.
• Proven experience covering backlog of drafting plans and new assessments.
• Expert knowledge of SEND code of practice.
