Job Description:
Assist in the Loading / Unloading and Movement of all equipment associated with Electrical Services.
Carry out routine Testing and Inspection duties on a wide range of Distribution Equipment, Automatic Mains Failure Units, and Cable.
Perform basic fault-finding duties on a range of distribution equipment.
Inspect, test, and repair L.V. cable.
Follow and adhere to current procedures controlling best practices for repair, testing, and inspection of equipment under the control of Client Electrical Services.
Monitor and control the use of replacement parts within the in-house stock control system.
Work independently or collaboratively on tasks with minimal supervision
You'll have the following skills and experience:
An electrical background with relevant electrical experience.
A broad knowledge of electrical-related legislation and policy.
High attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate the correct use of L.V. test equipment.
A basic understanding and ability to diagnose and identify faults on equipment ranging from 110 - 690 Volts A.C.
Competency in following in-house stock control systems for booking, monitoring, and controlling parts.
