SEMH Teaching Assistant - Specialist School, Salford

Full-Time Immediate Start £500-£550 per week

A well-regarded specialist school in Salford is looking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be a key member of the schools support team and contribute to removing barriers to learning for children with a number of additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs through targeted interventions, behaviour support strategies, and structured learning activities.
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help pupils build confidence and re-engage with education.
• Provide 1:1 support and small group work; assist with personalised learning plans.
• Support pupils with complex additional needs such as ADHD, ASD, trauma, and challenging behaviour.
