Job Description
Job Overview

Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm)
Salary: Paid to Scale. Salary/Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
DBS Requirement: Child and Adult DBS Reference, 2 Years Required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality teaching tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop and implement SEMH support strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional well being.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to effective learning.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with SEMH students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to professional development and teamwork.
