Cover Supervisor - General CoverHours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm
Start Date: ASAPWe are recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to provide general cover across a range of subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and can maintain a calm, structured learning environment.
The RoleYou will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning and that behaviour expectations are consistently upheld.
Key responsibilities include: - Supervising lessons using pre-set work across multiple subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting pupils to stay focused and on task
- Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
- Working collaboratively with support staff to maintain a safe environment
We're looking for someone who: - Has experience working with young people (education or youth setting)
- Is confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour
- Is calm, organised, and adaptable
- Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Is committed to safeguarding and inclusion
