Selenium Test Lead

Overview

Our client is looking for a Selenium Test Lead to work with their end customer on a 12 month initial contract, working out of their site in Northampton 2 days a week, rest remote. This role is Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Lead test automation using Selenium/Playwright, BDD Cucumber and Java/.Net.
• Utilise API testing tools like Postman and Insomnia.
• Hands-on knowledge of Web services (SOAP, REST and Micro Services) with Spring or .Net.
• Perform Functional and Non-Functional testing including regression, integration, and user acceptance to verify quality and functionality using an automation framework.

Qualifications

• Essential Experience:
• Experience in test automation using Selenium/Playwright, BDD cucumber and Java/.net is must.
• Experience in using API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia.
• Hands on knowledge on Web services (SOAP, REST and Micro Services) with Spring or .Net.
• Experience in Functional and Non-Functional testing including regression, integration, user acceptance to verify the quality and functionality of feature using automation framework.
• Min. 5-year experience preferred.
• Some Other Highly Valued Experience May Include:
• Experience in running automation test cases with CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Experience in Test Management tools like JIRA, Confluence.
