Job Introduction

As a Security Supervisor at Exeter Law Courts, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter, Devon EX1 1UH. Y you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure, safe, and positive environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. This position requires a dependable individual who can remain alert, enforce site protocols, and respond effectively to various situations. You'll be a visible presence on site, combining vigilance with excellent customer service to support Sodexo's commitment to operational excellence and safety.

• Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties of he highest level.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring customers are consistently informed throughout the process.
• Provide assistance to clients, contractors and visitors ensuring all site procedures and policies are adhered to.
• To liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and providing information to support.
• Continuous monitoring of site radio systems adhering to the correct procedures.
• Maintaining site records such as reference materials, incident forms and site occurrence book.
• To develop excellent working relationships with our on site client.

What You Will Bring:

• A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Licence - essential for this role.
• A strong sense of responsibility and integrity, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
• Good observational awareness and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative when needed.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using security systems, radios, or reporting tools.
