Position

Security Officer at University Hospital Crosshouse

Hours and Shift Pattern

5-week rota, 36hrs per week over 7 days. Shift patterns - 7.00 3.00pm, 3 00pm and 11.00 7.00am. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

What you will do

The general role of the security officer is widely varied and consists of duties such as driving, monitoring CCTV, patrolling premises, locking and securing premises, issuing keys, and other related responsibilities.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required
  • Clean UK driving licence (or equivalent)
  • Numerate, literate and practical skills
  • Good communication skills at various levels (Estates, Heads of Department, Practice Managers, etc.)
  • Ability to use initiative and anticipate and make appropriate decisions
  • Expected to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours
  • Right to work in the UK, or eligibility for sponsorship

UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
