Security Officer

TSS are looking for a Security Officer to work at a distribution centre where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must have an SIA licence.

Position: Security Officer

Location: Magna Park, Milton Keynes Distribution Centre

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Hours: Various

Shifts: 12 hour shifts, mixture of days and nights

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer

• Providing a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• Carrying out company policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
• Lawfully deterring potential troublemakers on site
• Observing and reporting incidents using the correct reporting systems
• Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at the local level are identified
• Understanding and implementing any fire and safety evacuation procedures
• Assisting, if required by the client, with staff and contractor searches
• Ensuring that the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• Conducting yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and an SIA licence is clearly displayed

A great communicator, team player, aged 18 or over, confident and driven to provide a friendly and professional service. Strong customer service skills and tech savvy for digital, paperless admin are essential.
