Security Officer

LOCATION: CONCOURSE SHOPPING CENTRE

SHIFT PATTERN: cover sickness and holiday, 10 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers to join our team in Telford. The ideal candidates will be vigilant, professional, and customer-focused, providing top-class security services and support.

• Patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect unauthorized activities
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
• Enforce site rules and procedures to ensure safety and compliance
• Write accurate and timely incident reports and maintain logs
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff

• Valid SIA license mandatory
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail
• Physical fitness and stamina to patrol and stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
