About The Role

As a Security Officer, you'll be part of a professional team ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of our operations. Reporting to the Security Team Leader, you'll support day-to-day security activities, uphold Health & Safety and compliance standards and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and contractors.

You'll play a key role in developing and following effective security protocols to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

Day Shift

• Control vehicle entry and exit, carrying out thorough security checks and verifying paperwork.
• Manage gatehouse operations with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond to incidents quickly and professionally, following training and protocols.
• Conduct regular site patrols (on foot and by vehicle).
• Complete reports, registration checks, and administrative duties to a high standard.
• Carry out vehicle spot checks, speed checks, and searches, escalating concerns where necessary.

Night Shift

• Conduct regular patrols (on foot or by vehicle) to safeguard the site.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems, reporting and acting on any concerns.
• Respond to and manage security incidents as required.
• Maintain clear, accurate records and ensure smooth handovers to day staff.

What We're Looking For

• Full clean driving licence.
• Proven, checkable employment history.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Solid administrative ability and attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness for patrols and active duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Security vehicles provided for patrols.
