I'm working with a global Security & Technology business in Sheffield who are looking to bring a Security Estimator into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience in security estimating who wants to join an innovative, technically strong environment with a healthy mix of office work and on site presence.

About the Role

As the Security Estimator, you'll split your time between the Sheffield office and visiting sites across the region. You'll be responsible for producing accurate, commercially sound estimates and specifications for projects covering CCTV, security systems, access control and intercom solutions.

This is a key role in the wider project lifecycle, working closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, and the Warehouse team to ensure materials, budgets and timelines are aligned from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, estimating and producing full job specifications for security-related projects
• Carrying out site visits to assess requirements and sign off completed works
• Reporting on the financial performance of projects
• Coordinating with internal teams including Project Managers, Coordinators and Warehouse
• Forward planning material supply and placing orders accordingly
• Ensuring all work is carried out with a customer centric approach
• Maintaining strong technical knowledge of modern security and access control technologies

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this position, previous experience within security estimating is essential. You'll also bring strong working knowledge of:

• C&D design and build SMATV
• Triax, Whyte, DSCR and line fed systems
• CCTV, security, access control and intercom solutions
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into accurate quotations
• Confident communication skills and a quality focused mindset
