Job Description

Security Solution Architect
3-month Contract
Outside IR35
Remote
Active SC Clearance - Essential

Key responsibilities

Working with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance maturity and reduce risk, aligned with Programme objectives.
Engage with business units to understand and balance conflicting priorities and constraints.
Collaborate with technical and service teams to implement security solutions that support cybersecurity operations.
Lead solution option assessments, guided by Enterprise Architecture, to define maintainable solutions that meet business needs.
Design key solutions for re-architecture initiatives (e.g. transition to data-centric architecture in the Cyber Defence workstream).
Assist with procurement of security solutions.
Work with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber SMEs to ensure alignment with the wider organisation
Provide support for tactical initiatives as needed.

Required Experience

Proactive approach and ability to lead and shape complex deliveries in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
Proven experience as a Security Solutions Architect
Strong architectural and design skills, with the ability to develop scalable and secure solutions that operate as services
Experience with at least one Enterprise Architecture framework (Zachman, Togaf SABSA or similar)
Experience of supporting procurement exercises and implementations
