Section Engineer

A Civil Engineering contractor is recruiting for a Section Engineer £2 Billion project in Devon. They deliver schemes as a principal contractor and has a very professional main contractor approach in their site set up, quality of work, team structure and the clients they work for such as National Highways, HS2, the Environment Agency, MOD and local authorities.

Due to the timeline of the project and the phase they are currently in, it is essential that the Section lEnginner has extensive experience within documentation & Admin such as: RAMS / ITPS / Temporary work design / QA.

• Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
• Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
• Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
• Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
• Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
• Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
