Section Engineer

We are looking for a Section Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Bedford.

What you'll do:

• Plan and prepare short and medium-term programmes aligned with overall contract requirements.
• Track and monitor actual work outputs; analyze and explain variances from plans.
• Facilitate site safety by preparing and reviewing safe working methods.
• Conduct safety and engagement reviews of on-site activities.
• Intervene to prevent unsafe occurrences and recognize positive safety actions.
• Prepare, review, and issue permits to work as required, based on competence and training.
• Raise challenges or blockers to Line Manager that may affect safe, on-time delivery.
