Secondary Tutors Required (Devon)

Quantum Scholars are currently seeking qualified Secondary teachers (QTS) and experienced Secondary tutors to deliver 1-to-1 tuition across Exeter and the surrounding areas of Devon.

This role supports secondary-aged pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education. Tuition may be delivered on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings.

This opportunity is ideal for secondary teachers and tutors looking for a flexible, part-time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Delivery may take place on school sites or in off-site, non-educational settings

• 1-to-1 tutoring across Devon and the surrounding areas.

• Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal

• Part-time role with flexible hours, depending on pupil and placement requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or substantial secondary tutoring experience

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)

• Willingness and ability to travel locally across Devon.

• Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable

• Calm, adaptable, and relationship-focused approach to teaching

• Rates dependent on experience and qualifications
