Secondary Tutor

GSL Education are recruiting a qualified Secondary Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition in Goole. We are seeking subject specialists who can confidently teach up to GCSE level.

About the Tuition

Pupils may require targeted intervention, exam preparation or alternative provision support. Tuition is personalised and focused on improving attainment, confidence and engagement.

Responsibilities

Deliver structured tuition in your subject specialism

Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

Assess progress and adapt planning accordingly

Provide clear progress updates

Promote engagement and positive learning behaviours

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge up to GCSE

Ability to build positive relationships

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
