Location: Horsham, West Sussex

About the Role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students across a range of secondary schools in Horsham and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people's learning and development. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to begin a career within education, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and academic progress.
  • Support classroom management and behaviour expectations.
  • Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
  • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education and wellbeing.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
