Role overview

You'll support students with Autism and complex needs, helping them access learning in a calm, structured and supportive environment. You'll play a key role in building trust and creating a space where pupils feel safe enough to engage.

Key responsibilities

• Support students with Autism and complex learning needs
• Work 1:1 and in small groups within a secondary setting
• Use structured routines and visual support strategies
• Encourage communication, independence and engagement
• Work closely with teachers and therapists

Requirements

• Experience in SEN or care is desirable but not essential
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
