Secondary Science Teacher (Physics Specialism)

Full-time Permanent Start: September 2026
Location: Inner-city Primary School, London Borough of Lambeth

Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics? Do you want to make a real difference in an inner-city school where curiosity, ambition and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do?

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary-trained Science Teacher (Physics) to join our thriving and forward-thinking primary school community in Lambeth. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026. ECTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.

About the Role

You will:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons with a strong physics focus, inspiring pupils to develop a love of STEM.

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and leaders to enrich the science curriculum across the school.

  • Support the development of practical, investigative learning and scientific enquiry.

  • Contribute to whole-school improvement and enrichment opportunities, including clubs, competitions and projects.

What we're looking for

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in Physics or Science.

  • A passion for inspiring young learners, particularly in an inner-city context.

  • High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to inclusion and achievement.

  • Strong classroom practice and a reflective, collaborative approach.

  • ECTs with enthusiasm and potential, as well as experienced teachers seeking a new challenge.
