Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Secondary School. Location: Retford. Salary: £100 - £120 per day (including holiday pay). Start Date: Immediate.

Are you a confident cover supervisor looking to lead in the classroom?

A popular and inclusive secondary school in South Yorkshire is seeking an energetic and dependable Cover Supervisor to join their team immediately.

What the Role Involves:

Leading the Classroom: Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects (including Humanities, English, and Science), ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
Behaviour Management: Use your confidence and communication skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment, reinforcing the school's behaviour policy.
Supporting Progress: Take the register, set clear objectives, and assist students who need extra guidance to complete their work.
Flexibility & Variety: Work across different departments and year groups, keeping the school day dynamic and interesting.

What We Are Looking For:

A Degree Holder: A university degree (preferably 2:2 or above) in any subject. A background in Psychology, English, or Sport is useful but not essential.
Strong Communicator: You must be able to build quick rapport with students and give clear instructions with confidence.
Resilient & Adaptable: Mainstream schools move fast. You'll need to think on your feet and adapt to different classroom settings daily.
