PE Teacher (Part-Time) Monday to Wednesday September to Christmas 2026 Gloucester

Reed Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Gloucester to recruit an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join their team from September until Christmas 2026.

This is a part-time position (Monday to Wednesday) teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students to participate, develop skills and enjoy sport in a supportive and inclusive environment.

A strong background in a range of sports is essential, with netball experience being a particular advantage due to the school's extracurricular and competitive sporting programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Motivate students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Promote participation, teamwork and healthy lifestyles.
• Contribute to extracurricular sport and school competitions where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for physical education and student development.
• Experience coaching and teaching netball would be highly beneficial.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
