Penarth £93 per day Full-Time Start after Easter / September This isn't an easy role

We're working with a secondary school in The Vale of Glamorgan with a specialist base for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.

The pupils you'll be supporting don't always respond to traditional classroom environments.

Some will test boundaries.

Some will push you away before they trust you.

Your job is to show up anyway

• consistently, calmly and without taking it personally.

This is an ideal role for someone considering a career in education and looking for a genuine stepping stone into a PGCE

not just observation, but real experience.

Supporting pupils who struggle with behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation

Working 1:1 and in small groups within a specialist base

Helping pupils re-enter lessons and stay in class

Managing challenging behaviour in a calm and controlled way

Building trust over time

not instantly You won't "win them over" in a day.

You must also be confident communicating in clear spoken and written English, as you'll be working closely with staff and supporting pupils throughout the day.
