About the role

Role Responsibility

The Street Cleansing Supervisor will oversee operational activities, supervise staff, and ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks in accordance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities include team briefings, addressing staff individually or in groups, conducting challenging conversations when necessary, and maintaining documentation and safety controls. Training will be provided.

Daily supervision of street cleaners, attending meetings, liaising with management, engaging with community groups, and assisting with city events are key duties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring workforce performance against KPIs and addressing issues
  • Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legal obligations
  • Developing good relationships with customers
  • Conducting safety training and safety checks regularly

Shift details: Central area PM shift, 13:39 - 22:00, rolling rota

Salary: Scale 5, £28,163 - £30,060 + 1 hour contracted overtime

Applicants must hold a clean B or C1 driving license.
