We are seeking dedicated and reliable Seasonal Gravediggers / Cemetery Grounds Persons to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our cemeteries remain safe, respectful, and beautifully maintained for all visitors.
You will carry out a range of grounds maintenance tasks and support burial operations, working as part of a committed team that takes pride in delivering a high quality public service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out cemetery grounds maintenance, including:
• Grass cutting
• Strimming
• Weeding
• General upkeep of cemetery grounds
• Assisting with burials in a professional, respectful manner
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and presentable
• Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and members of the public

What We're Looking For

Applicants must be able to demonstrate at least one year's experience, with personal and specific examples, in:

• Working in a horticultural or grounds maintenance environment with public interaction
• Using horticultural machinery and hand tools safely
• Understanding Health & Safety requirements and carrying out practical risk assessments
• Providing a high quality service in a public facing role
• Working effectively as part of a team

Desirable Requirement

• A valid driving licence
