About the role: SEO Specialist

As an SEO Specialist, it's your responsibility to ensure that Alpine's five webshops rank as high as possible in organic search results. With the webshop platforms powered by Shopify, your primary focus will be on content and link building. A solid SEO foundation is already in place, but there's still plenty of room for growth and improvement. Your responsibilities and tasks include:

• You will be responsible for developing and implementing our long-term SEO strategy, driving key projects forward, and continuously evaluating and improving our SEO performance. In our fast-growing company, you'll have the freedom to experiment with new tools, technologies, and AI to push boundaries and deliver results.
• You'll take the visibility of Alpine in the Netherlands, UK, US, France, and Germany to new heights with your dedication to content SEO and link building.With the support of a copywriter, you will take the lead in creating engaging content or optimizing existing content to enhance user experience and drive traffic from search engines.
• You'll tackle immediate tasks such as performing site audits, advising on Shopify content structure, and resolving crawling errors.
• Working hand-in-hand with specialists in paid search, paid social, and CRM, you'll craft the ideal customer acquisition mix.

What are we looking for in you as an SEO Specialist?

• Proven SEO experience: You have multiple years of experience with SEO in an e-commerce environment and are able to both formulate and implement a strategy. Your main focus has been on content and link building.
• Results-driven mindset: You are a results-oriented professional with a data-driven approach to decision-making. You have the skills to identify key opportunities and implement strategies that improve webshop performance and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborative & resilient: You're energetic and an excellent communicator, as you'll be working closely with others in a project-based environment.
