Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SC cleared, Certified Scrum Master to join a high-profile programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective Scrum practices are adopted and continuously improved.

In addition to Scrum Master responsibilities, experience in Delivery Management and/or Project Management would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including:
o Sprint Planning
o Daily Stand-ups
o Sprint Reviews
o Sprint Retrospectives
* Coach and mentor delivery teams in Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement techniques.
* Remove blockers and impediments that impact team delivery and sprint objectives.
* Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and planning activities.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on sprint performance using metrics such as velocity, burndown, throughput, and delivery trends.
* Facilitate effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
* Ensure transparency and visibility of work through Agile tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps Boards.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Must be Scrum certified
* At least, 5-6 years' experience working as a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager within Agile software delivery environments. Including 4 years software development experience.
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Agile best practices.
* Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing Agile teams.
* Experience with Agile delivery tools including Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps Boards.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
* Experience managing competing priorities across multiple delivery streams.
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
* Ability to identify delivery risks and proactively drive mitigation activities.
