Our client's private hospital, established for over 50 years, is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated to the healthcare of women and children. It is the UK's largest private children's hospital with over 46 paediatric beds, including a 10-bed intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a day care unit.

They care for over 40,000 children annually, providing treatment for everything from general paediatric conditions to complex craniofacial reconstruction. The hospital has over 175 paediatric consultants available to treat children from newborns up to 18 years old.

The hospital features four theatres in a vibrant, professional environment equipped with the latest technology, including fully integrated theatres. An exciting new project is underway to open a fifth theatre!

The theatre team comprises experienced Consultants and Practitioners across various specialties. Daily, they perform complex procedures in acute specialties, including Gynaecology & Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of patient care using evidence-based practices
• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate all aspects of patient care
• Prepare patients and assist with clinical/operative procedures
• Work collaboratively as a team member across all theatre areas, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve team objectives

Skills & Experience

• Experienced Theatre Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
• Registered to practice in the UK
