St James's Hospital is Ireland's largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublin's south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Our academic partner is Trinity College Dublin.

Purpose of the role

The postholder is responsible for facilitating professional development of SCOPe HSCP in line with the requirements of the Rehabilitation Improvement Programme and with a clear focus on ensuring quality, safe patient care. The post holder will collaborate widely to ensure an integrated approach to improving workforce skills and competencies and patient outcomes. This role, the first HSCP Practice Development Lead role for St James's Hospital is an exciting opportunity to work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver on key aspects of the transformative Rehabilitation and Recovery Improvement Programme.
