Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially aware Senior Manager to lead our Small Works business unit, delivering a wide range of projects across mechanical, electrical, and building fabric disciplines.

This role is responsible for the operational delivery, financial performance, client relationships, and strategic growth of the Small Works division, ensuring projects are delivered safely, professionally, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Small Works business unit across multiple live projects
• Oversee delivery of mechanical, electrical, and building fabric installation works
• Manage project teams, engineers, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and within budget
• Drive commercial performance, profitability, and operational efficiencies
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Support estimating, programming, procurement, and resource planning activities
• Monitor quality, project reporting, and contractual performance
• Work collaboratively with senior leadership to support wider business objectives

Experience & Requirements

• Strong background within building services and small works project delivery
• General building services installation experience across:
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Building Fabric
• Proven experience managing operational delivery teams and multiple concurrent projects
• Good commercial and contractual awareness
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work within fast paced reactive and planned project environments
• Experience within FM, M&E contracting, or building services sectors preferred
