Salary: NJC Grade D (scp 8-14, £26,824 - £29,540 FTE) Actual Salary £21,732

Basis: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week x 39 weeks per year (term time plus 1 week)

Location: Across the Trust (based at Hele's School currently).

Required to start on: 1st September 2026

Overview

The Science Technician supports the effective operation of the trust and works to uphold and promote its vision and values. To contribute to the achievement of the School's Mission and strategic objectives by working as a member of the Science Team, providing effective, flexible and efficient practical support to the Science Department.

Qualifications and Requirements

All staff and volunteers must share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references - references will be sought prior to interview. Proof of qualifications is compulsory.
