The large secondary school in Manchester, with a two form entry, has a supportive Senior Leadership Team and a strong focus on staff development. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where both students and staff are encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Science Teacher on a long term, full time basis starting in May, with the opportunity to move into a salaried position following a successful trial period. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining strong classroom management, and supporting student progress and attainment.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for raising attainment in Science
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
