TARA Recruitment is currently supporting a secondary school in Telford in the recruitment of a Science Teacher to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The school is looking for a reliable professional who can maintain high standards in the classroom and inspire students in their learning.

Role Overview

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver lessons across various science disciplines, helping students develop their understanding, analytical skills, and scientific knowledge. You will support learning continuity during teacher absences and play an important role in fostering curiosity and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Supporting students in developing practical, analytical, and theoretical science skills

Planning and delivering lessons that encourage student engagement and progress

Assessing and monitoring student work and providing constructive feedback

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching experience

Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to motivate and engage students across different abilities

A professional, reliable, and flexible approach
