Science Teacher

Location: Tadcaster
Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
Start Date: February 2026

GSL Education are looking to appoint a dynamic Science Teacher for a secondary school in Tadcaster starting February 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Responsibilities:

Teach general Science, with specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Plan and deliver well-structured lessons

Use assessment effectively to inform teaching

Promote high standards of behaviour and achievement

Support pupils of varying abilities

Requirements:

QTS or equivalent

Experience teaching secondary Science

Strong curriculum knowledge

Ability to motivate and engage learners

A proactive and professional approach
