Science Teacher (Biology Preferred) - Secondary School - Wirral

Part-Time 3 Days per Week MUST HAVE QTS

TalentBoard is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher, ideally with a specialism in Biology, to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral. This part-time role covers 3 days per week, delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons up to Key Stage 4.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

• Teach Biology, and ideally Physics and General Science, to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support progress for all learners.
• Assess, track and report on pupil achievement in line with the school's policies.
• Create a positive, supportive and well-managed learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Science department to share resources, strategies and best practice.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and student wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ESSENTIAL
• Experience teaching Biology up to KS4 (KS3 Physics and/or General Science is highly beneficial)
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate learners
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A passion for your subject and a commitment to pupil success
• The ability to work effectively within a supportive school team
