Science Teacher (Maternity Cover) - Gateshead

Are you a passionate and dedicated science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a Science Teacher to complete a maternity cover position at a well established school in the Gateshead area. The role will begin as soon as possible after the Easter holidays and continue for 1 year.

The Role

• Teaching science to KS3 and KS4 students
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
• Assessing and tracking student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
• Experience teaching science at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

Please note, this is a main pay scale role and the pay range of £162.31-£223.62 is linked to your current teacher pay scale.
