About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher, who is looking for a long term role, in a Secondary school in the Bostonarea on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in May 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4
• Ensure lessons meet National Curriculum and GCSE specification requirements
• Plan and carry out practical experiments safely and effectively
• Promote scientific enquiry, problem solving and critical thinking
• Assess pupil progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement
• Embed literacy, numeracy and exam skills within Science teaching
• Maintain a safe and well organised laboratory environment
• Support pupils' preparation for GCSE Science examinations
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings

Pre requisites

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• UK secondary school teaching experience at KS3 and KS4
• Ability to teach Biology Chemistry and Physics
• Confident with practical experiments and lab safety
