Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

An outstanding school based in the Borough of Islington is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant for a long-term position, starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a strong science background to join a supportive and dynamic school community in the Borough of Islington.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Chemistry, although graduates with a degree in any of the three additional sciences (Biology, Physics, or General Science) who are versatile and adaptable will also be considered. Experience in tutoring or 1:1 support would be an added bonus.

The Science Graduate Teaching Assistant will primarily be responsible for tutoring 6th form students who are taking their A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and General Sciences. This role offers hands-on experience in supporting students academically, enhancing their understanding of complex scientific concepts, and helping them achieve their potential.

This long-term opportunity in the Borough of Islington is expected to potentially run until the end of the academic year, July 2027. The pay rate for this Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role is £90-£110 per day, depending on experience.
