Overview- Duration: September 2026 to July 2027
- Pay: £90 - £110 per day
- Location: Good secondary school, Ward of Edgbaston
- Support: 1:1 and small group intervention in GCSE Physics and Chemistry
Work with the Science department to support GCSE pupils in physics and chemistry through 1:1 tuition and small group intervention. Strengthen students' understanding of key topics, reinforce classwork, support revision, and provide clear feedback to teachers on progress.
CandidateYou are clear, organised, and confident explaining difficult ideas in a simple way. You want practical secondary school experience, enjoy helping students build confidence in science, and are keen to develop the classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
Requirements- Degree - 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication - Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Career goals - A desire to train as a teacher and build a long term career in education.
