School Receptionist

A friendly and welcoming school are looking for a professional Receptionist to join them on a part-time, temporary basis.

Please Note: You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or had a DBS completed in the past 30 days to be able to be considered for this role.

Located between Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside, this role is easily commutable from Pickering, Malton, Easingwold, Thirsk and surrounding villages, so having your own transport and being able to drive is essential.

This is a key role supporting students, staff and visitors, and would suit someone who enjoys a varied front desk position within a busy, fast-paced education environment.

Some of the School Receptionist duties are:

• Meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring they are booked in and out
• Handling incoming calls and school emails
• Supporting students with day-to-day queries and requests
• Completing general admin tasks including scanning and typing

You will be confident using computers, quick to pick up systems and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days feel the same. A warm, professional manner and the ability to stay calm and organised will be important.

This is a part time role working 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break, earning between £13.00 to £13.50 per hour depending on experience.
