School Kitchen/Dining Room Assistant

St Peter's School, Lympstone, is seeking a Kitchen/Dining Room Assistant to work 22.5 hours a week, term time only, Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 15:30. The annual salary is £11,439, including paid holiday entitlement. Some flexibility with days and hours is required.

Candidates are required to work within the school kitchen and dining room to undertake specific laying up, clearing away, washing up, cleaning and other kitchen duties as directed by the Hospitality and Catering Manager.

We are seeking someone who is self motivated and organised, able to work with minimal supervision to complete tasks to the required standards and timescales using their own initiative. Kitchen/catering experience is desirable but not essential.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo an online check. The successful candidate will also be required to complete full child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
