We are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to work in a welcoming primary school in Abercynon, starting in June.

This School Caretaker role in Abercynon involves split shifts, Monday to Friday, with working hours of 6:30am-10:00am and 2:30pm-6:00pm. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced School Caretaker seeking a consistent role within a school setting in Abercynon.

As a School Caretaker in Abercynon, you will be responsible for opening and closing the school, ensuring the site is safe and secure, and carrying out general maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and locking up the school site
• General maintenance and basic repairs
• Ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and secure
• Supporting with day-to-day site management tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a School Caretaker or similar role preferred
• Enhanced DBS is essential
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
