Academics are currently working with this fantastic Primary school in Westminster to recruit an experienced School Caretaker to join their team from June.

This School Caretaker role is a part time, Monday to Friday role 7am to 2.30pm. The role will need a minimum commitment of June to September 2025 and the opportunity to become permanent. There will be additional overtime during the school year to support with events.

This role will include

Ensuring the school is clean, safe. Manage waste and performing general maintenance
Insuring the school is secure and reporting any defects
Support and assisting with delivery of goods to the site
Daily and Weekly checks of the school buildings and playground
Ensure Health & Safety policies are being adhered too and complete regular checks
Event Support - Setting up assemblies, classrooms and events as required
Admin duties such as maintaining maintenance records & supplies

You will need;

A good level of fitness
Be able to work independently and handle emergencies
Have practical DIY and basic technical skills
To have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
